The editorial "Taking issue with the mayor" (Deseret Morning News, Nov. 7) hit the nail right on the head. A critical point in the issue of criticism coming from and directed toward Mayor Rocky Anderson was overlooked, however. It is irritating to endure Anderson's fractural comments on religion and then listen to him abrogate the responsibility for those comments to the Deseret Morning News. Anderson is the one that will tie a hidden Mormon agenda to legislation he opposes such as in the Nordstrom issue. Such behavior is exploitative and costly to both Salt Lake City and the entire state.
Rocky, you can call the News, they have permission to give you my phone number. I find it wildly entertaining that letters to the editor pierce the thin skin of the mayor of Salt Lake City.
