Chasqui Humanitarian will hold a "Celebration Banquet" on Saturday to benefit children and families in Bolivia and Peru.

The humanitarian organization, named for the ancient Incan word for "messenger," provides help to remote villages. Last February, the group was honored by the Utah chapter of the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge.

The banquet will be held in the Salt Palace Grand Ballroom and will feature an Andean market, silent auction, live auction, dinner and concert by Jericho Road. Prize drawings include a 2004 Chasqui expedition and a 1959 Jaguar. Dress is semiformal.
