Centro Hispano holding art contest

PROVO — Hispanic children and young adults are invited to submit artwork, drawings, and sculptures for a competition sponsored by Centro Hispano.

Participants will compete for cash prizes in high school, middle school and elementary school categories.

Children can submit their artwork through their school art teachers until Wednesday. The theme of this year's event is "My American Dream." An awards ceremony and opening reception will be Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Provo Arts Center, 425 W. Center.
