The public is invited to hear speedskaters, including Olympic medalists Derek Parra and Joey Cheek, tell their stories Monday as part of the Salt Lake County Library Services program at the Utah Olympic Oval, 5662 S. 4800 West.
Participants can watch speedskaters in training for the upcoming World Cup at 4:30 p.m., followed by athlete story time at 5 p.m. and skating with the athletes on the 400-meter oval from 5:30-7 p.m.
