Battered women will recognize the YWCA's Week Without Violence by dancing, singing and reading poetry and stories Monday at the University of Utah.
The U. Women's Resource Center and the Associated Students of the University of Utah will present "Finding Voice: The Music of Utah Battered Women" at 7 p.m. in the Olpin Union Ballroom, 200 S. Central Campus Drive at the U.
The 70-minute production is a project funded by a postdoctoral research fellowship granted to Elizabeth York, director of the music therapy program at Utah State University.
