"Nano Utah 2003," focusing on nanotechnology, will take place from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, at the Miller Business Innovation Center, 9750 S. 300 West, Sandy.
Guest speakers include author Jack Uldrich and Dr. Regan Stinnett of Sandia National Labs.
The event also will include a panel discussion of nanotechnology opportunities in Utah, other presentations and roundtable discussions with business and education leaders.
The event is sponsored by Utah, Salt Lake Community College, Utah Valley State College, Weber State University and the Wasatch Front Consortium.
The cost is $30 per person, $15 per student. Registration is available at www.mbic-slcc.org.
