Roughly 20,000 Latter-day Saints sit in the Conference Center at the Saturday afternoon session. LDS faithful attended four general sessions and a priesthood session during the 173rd Semiannual General Conference, which ended Sunday afternoon. Church leaders exhorted members to stand firm in their testimonies and to refuse to be engulfed in the veritable tide of filth spewing forth from TV and other media. Although LDS leaders made no major announcements, six full-time general authorities were released.
