NEPHI ALMA NEMELKA, 84, PASSED AWAY APRIL 4, 1996, AT HIS HOME IN WEST JORDAN AFTER A PEACEFUL BOUT WITH CANCER.

BORN NOVEMBER 22, 1911 IN SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, SON OF CARL ALOIS AND HELENA ELIZABETH LUCAS NEMELKA. NEPHI WAS A MEMBER OF THE LDS CHURCH, A FAITHFUL TEMPLE WORKER, HIGH PRIEST AND A DEDICATED HOME TEACHER.MARRIED RUTH HUBOLD; DECEASED. HE IS SURVIVED BY THEIR CHILDREN, DARLENE ROSE (RICK) BLACKHAM, DENVER, COLO.; JEANENE BARHAM, SALT LAKE CITY; DAVID ROBERT (INGRID) NEMELKA, MAPLETON; CAROL (RICHARD) BURR, PLEASANT GROVE, ROGER (MARY) NEMELKA, SPRINGVILLE.

MARRIED WANDA GUSTAVESON: DIVORCED. MARRIED AN ANGEL SENT FROM GOD, CLARISSA BELL DAVIS NELMELKA JANUARY 18, 1992. HE IS ALSO SURVIVED BY HER CHILDREN, MARIE (JIM) CLEGG, GARY (BARBARA) FRANCOM, SUSAN MIDGLEY, VICKIE WOZAB, OWEN (JUNE) DAVIS.

SURVIVED BY 31 GRANDCHILDREN; 38 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN; BROTHER AND SISTERS, WALTER JOHN (LILLIE) NEMELKA, ESTHER (PAUL) MILLER AND MARY CHIPMAN; SISTER-IN-LAW, MRS. JOSEPH GAYLE NEMELKA. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY BROTHER, JOSEPH NEPHI NEMELKA.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE TUESDAY 12 NOON, AT THE BINGHAM CREEK 2ND WARD, 1925 WEST 9000 SOUTH. FRIENDS AND FAMILY MAY CALL MONDAY, 6-8 P.M. AT McDOUGAL FUNERAL HOME, 4330 SO. REDWOOD ROAD, AND TUESDAY AT THE CHURCH, ONE HOUR PRIOR TO SERVICES. INTERMENT, UTAH VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK.
