A revelation from God unto Eladah, commencing in the year before the death of Ezra Taft Benson and continuing after his death. As I was ministering in the holy temple of God, performing the ordinances of the holy endowment, the Lord God spoke unto me saying, my precious daughter Eladah, thy sins are forgiven thee, for I have seen they faithfulness in testifying of me and in doing all that I have asked of thee. I say unto thee, Eladah, that thy offerings and thy sacrifices are accepted of me, and thou art found worthy, through the blood of the Spotless Lamb, to do a far greater work than that which thou hast hitherto alone. Yea, I have called thee and chosen thee from before the foundation of the world, for even as I chose Sarai and named her Sarah, even so I have chosen thee Eladah, my daughter; and I name thee Hephzibah Eladah Isaiah, which name being interpreted means My Delight is in Thee — God Adorneth — The Lord is Salvation — signifying that thou art highly favored and blessed among women, and thou wast foreordained to be the Mother of Zion, and the New Jerusalem, and of the Kingdom of God in this the dispensation of the fullness of times. Then I cried out Oh Lord! How can this be, for I am unlearned, and I have been hated and despised among the children of men ever since my birth? And the Lord answered me saying, Of a truth Hephzibah, my delight is in thee, and I say unto thee, thou art the most cherished angel in the heavens, and thou dost not need an earthly school for I will be thy teacher, and the heavens will be opened to thy view that thou mayest be taught from on high. And lo, Satan has hated thee from thy birth for he knoweth thy calling, and he has sought every means to destroy thee, and he has tempted all those whom thou lovest most to turn against thee, to destroy thee. Nevertheless, Satan's bounds are set and he cannot pass beyond them. For I have long heard thy prayers, my daughter Hephzibah, which have ascended up to me from the deep wellspring of thy tender heart, upon the fountain of thy tears; and I am moved, with all the Hosts of Heaven to plead fervently in thy behalf before the throne of mercy, justice, and grace. And know this, my daughter, that all thy suffering and anguish of soul has been for thy good and has given thee experience, and thou hast learned to detect the very most subtle appearances of evil, and to put all thy trust in me. Therefore, my daughter, be patient with those people who do not understand thy calling, for in a future day they will understand, and thine own mother shall weep upon thy neck and plead for thy forgiveness. And great shame and sorrow and anguish of soul shall pierce the hearts of all those who have hated and despised thee, mocked and scorned thee, ridiculed and condemned thee; and if they repent not, they shall be destroyed from off the face of the whole earth, saith thy Lord and thy God. For I knoweth thy heart, my daughter, for thou art after mine own heart in all things and thou doth delight to honor and glorify me in thine every thought, word, and deed. And it is thy greatest joy to love my children most affectionately and tenderly, and to teach them knowledge and wisdom and virtue and Godliness. And it is the greatest desire of thy heart to glorify thy God and to uplift and strengthen and inspire the human soul through the playing of inspired sacred music and by the life thou dost live. And thou dost love to sing the hymns of Zion, and a song of praise is continually in thy heart and upon thy lips. And thou dost delight in being meek and submissive and obedient and humble and of broken heart and contrite spirit, even as a little child. And I say unto thee, Hephzibah, thou didst most assuredly play glorious heavenly music on the pipe organs in the celestial courts on high. And thou didst associate with the Gods, even thy Heavenly Father and Mother and thy Savior, and all the noble and great ones, even thy husband Immanuel. And thou art known in the heavens for thy nobility and dignity of spirit and for thy deep and abiding love for all that is beautiful and holy and orderly and virtuous and true. And thou dost hate disorder and chaos and greed and enviousness and self-righteousness and lying and gossiping and gluttony and hypocrisy and pride and all that is false. Yea, thou dost hate sin and thou canst not tolerate it, even as I cannot tolerate sin in the least degree of allowance. Wherefore my daughter Hephzibah, thou and thy husband, Immanuel, have been trained up and taught most carefully by me in all the mysteries of Godliness and in all my power. Yea, thus saith the Lord thy God unto thee, by my mighty hand I have taken thee throughout the land, from shore to shore, and from city to city, and from year to year, without purse or script. And my humble followers among every race, kindred, tongue and people, who knew my light and have a testimony of me, have ministered to thy needs and have gone on their way to rejoicing. And thou didst testify of me, even Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Ghost, throughout the land, and thou didst play glorious sacred organ music to uplift and strengthen and inspire the souls of men; and the heavens were opened to thy view and thou hast had many glorious visions and dreams. And thou didst break forth into singing and sang the songs of redeeming love. And thou didst fast and pray continually. Yea, thee and thy husband, Immanuel, didst eat fruit only fourteen months; and thou didst eat fruits, vegetables, and sprouts only for seven months, and thou knowest the sanctifying and healing power of living all my laws of health and all my commandments unto you. Yea, thou didst have great strength to do many mighty works of faith throughout the land among all my children; for thou knowest I am no respecter of persons, saith the Lord. Yea, through thy great faith in me, thy Savior, thou hast come to know my power of protection and deliverance and providence, and thou hast come to know me. And thou knowest how precious are my lambs and how much I, the Good Shepherd, love them; and thou knowest the wolves that come among my lambs to devour them. And thou has fed my lambs and administered the words of eternal life unto them, and thou has provided a way for their deliverance and salvation. Therefore, my daughter, Hephzibah, thou art greatly blessed for thy faithfulness, and I, the Lord God, say unto thee, thou art called and chosen to represent Heaven and Heavenly Things, and to use all of thy talents and abilities to establish my Zion and to build up my kingdom upon the earth, and to testify of me in all things in whatsoever circumstances ye are in. Therefore, I adorn thee with the precious gifts of knowledge and wisdom and understanding and virtue and Godliness and Charity. And the greatest of these is charity, which is my pure love, and my charity never faileth. And all these gifts come by faith through The Seven Diamonds Plus One and by the power of the Holy Ghost. Therefore, Hephzibah Eladah Isaiah, thou art called and chosen to be a helpmeet unto my servant Immanuel David Isaiah, and to be his wise counselor and best friend, and to be submissive and obedient unto thy husband in all righteousness, and be a comfort and a strength and a companion to thy husband in every time of trial and affliction until the end. And all this that thou mayest receive glory and honor in serving thy husband, as unto thy Lord. This is the perfect order of heaven inasmuch as all things are done in pure love, and in obedience to the Holy Spirit, and in obedience to all my commandments. Wherefore, Hephzibah, my most cherished angel, thou wilt take into thy heart and home seven sisters, and thou wilt recognize them through the spirit as thy dearest and choicest friends from all eternity, and they shall bring thee great joy, even a multiplicity and an eternal weight of blessings and glory and eternal happiness. And lo, thou shalt be healed and made whole every whit, and thine own womb shall be opened, and thou shalt bring forth a son to sit upon the throne of his father David. And thou shalt take into thy heart and home seven times seven sisters, to love and care for; forty-nine precious jewels in thy crown, and thou art the jubilee of them all, first and last, for all are given unto them, for thou art a Queen, Oh Hephzibah! Wherefore, the gifts of agency and stewardship are inseparably connected and are given that ye might learn strict obedience to all my laws and commandments. And the Kingdom of Heaven may be likened unto a small rivulet that flows down from the mountain, and the small rivulet, being faithful and true in its course, is added upon and becomes a brook, and the brook continuing faithful in its course becomes a large stream, and by and by the large stream is added upon and becomes a mighty river, and the mighty river, moving steadily forward in its course, becomes an ocean which spreads forth in every direction and fills and covers the whole earth. Wherefore, my daughter, righteous desires are fulfilled upon the level at which thy faith is developed and when thy faith is made whole and unshaken in me, all thou dost need do is ask and it shall be given unto thee. Therefore, in mine own due time and according to my will for thee, and in fulfillment of all that thou dost righteously desire, thou shalt come unto me and feel the wounds in my hands and side and feet, and thou shalt kiss my feet and bath my feet with thy tears, and I shall lift thee up and embrace thee in mine arms, and thou shalt be healed and made whole every whit. And thou shalt be sealed up into the Church of the First Borne, and the Sanctified, and the Redeemed of God, forevermore. And thou shalt write and play glorious heavenly music thou wilt write and play to the glory and honor of the Eternal God and His Christ, even the Annointed Savior who speaketh unto thee. And this is my covenant with thee, Hephzibah, my friend, I shall make of thee a great nation, and thou shalt be a Queen and a wise counselor unto my people, for my righteousness shall be in thee and in thy seed after thee unto endless generations. And thy posterity shall be as the sands of the sea, and thy reign and thy dominions and thy rule shall be endless, without beginning of days or end of days. This is my covenant with thee and with thy seed. Amen. Hearken, O ye people, and open your hearts and give ear from afar; and listen, you that call yourselves the people of the Lord, and hear the word of the Lord and his will concerning you. Yea, verily, I say, hear the word of him whose anger is kindled against the wicked and rebellious; Who willeth to take even them whom he will take, and preserveth in life them whom he will preserve; Who buildeth up at his own will and pleasure; and destroyeth when he pleases, and is able to cast the soul down to hell. Behold, I, the Lord, utter my voice, and it shall be obeyed. Wherefore, verily I say, let the wicked take heed, and let the rebellious fear and tremble; and let the unbelieving hold their lips, for the day of wrath shall come upon them as a whirlwind, and all flesh shall know that I am God.
