"This is about taking flying lessons. No matter when you jump, you'll either land on your feet, or learn how to fly," said Kenny Loggins, introducing the song, "Leap of Faith" at an outdoor concert among the Redwoods last year. Sounds like him. His songs are joyful, flightful ventures.

He released an album recorded live at that concert called "Outside: From the Redwoods." It celebrates two decades of his hits. Such songs as "Your Mama Don't Dance," "Footloose," "If You Believe," "This is It," "I'm All Right," and "Conviction of The Heart," suggest that if his Salt Lake concert is anything like the one he recorded out in the Redwoods, it will be a touching and energizing musical experience.Kenny Loggins performs at the Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City Tuesday, Nov. 22.

The title song from Kenny Loggins' new (children's) CD, "Return to Pooh Corner" was written "when I was supposed to be studying for finals as a high school senior," says Loggins. "It was my farewell to childhood." You can forget your age listening to his warm, rich voice. He's assisted on the CD by Amy Grant, David Crosby and Graham Nash, to name a few. The entire album, which includes such favorites as "The Rainbow Connection" and "Somewhere Out There," - is as sunny and sweet as warm honey.
