Robert August Larson, Sandy, Utah, passed away Sunday, December 12, 1993, of natural causes.
He was born February 22, 1934 in Salt Lake City to Arvid J. and LaRue Larsen Larson. Married Adrienne Willey in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on December 20, 1957.He attended the University of Utah and received Bachelor and Master Degrees from Westminster College.
He was an English and journalism teacher at West High School. Served with the U.S. Army Reserve at Fort Ord, California; worked many summers for the U.S. Forest Service; active in Boy Scouts of America.
Survivors include his widow; son and daughter-in-law, Scott R. and Jennifer J. Larson; daughter, Katherine E. Larson; son, Mark E. Larson; grandson, Anders S. Larson; sister and brother-in-law, Judith L. and Blaine F. Evans; and brother, Harold A. Larson.
Graveside services will be held at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Avenue and N Street, on Friday, December 17th, at 12 noon; friends and family may call Friday from 11-11:45 a.m., at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the University of Utah College of Fine Arts Scholarship Fund, c/o Development Office, # 304 Park Bldg., SLC, UT 84112.
