Our beautiful Stacie, who brought love and sunshine to all, died at home of cancer November 8, 1993.
She was born January 6, 1955 in Salt Lake City to Raymond and Joan Clark. Stacie grew up in Salt Lake where she attended Newman Elementary School, Northwest Junior High School, and graduated from West High School in 1973. She attended the University of Utah and received her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work in 1977. She received her Masters Degree in Human Resource Management from Utah State University in 1983.Stacie was employed by the County Dept. of Aging for the past 10 years as case manager in the alternative program, where she was highly respected and had received numerous honors and awards for her work with the elderly.
Stacie is survived by her husband, Greg Rasmussen, who took wonderful care of her throughout her illness, never leaving her side. Her two beautiful children, Aaron James Rasmussen and Robyn Edith Rasmussen, who were the unending joy of her life; parents, Raymond and Joan Clark; brother, Mitchell George Clark and his wife, Beverly and their children, Matthew and Rebekah; grandmother, Virginia W. Holt; and numerous relatives in her family and Greg's. She was preceded in death by her brother, Dana Allen Clark and her grandfather, Forrest C. Holt.
Special thanks to Norma and Cecil Rasmussen, Greg's parents, for their loving care and support. Also, a special thanks to her favorite nurse, Charles Gregor, who took such loving care of her throughout her illness. We also wish to thank all her friends, who gave her such loving support.
During her illness Stacie thought only of her family and friends, as she always had done.
Whenever you see a field of sunflowers think of Stacie, she'll be there.
We all miss you, Stacie, and will remember you with all our love, always.
Graveside service will be held Thursday, Nov. 11, 1993, 2 p.m. at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 So. Friends may call Thursday 12:45-1:45 p.m. at the Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 So.
