METS SUSPEND VINCE COLEMAN

Vince Coleman was suspended for two days without pay by the New York Mets after his argument with an umpire became a shoving match with manager Jeff Torborg.

Coleman was ejected in the second inning of a 4-1 loss to Atlanta for arguing a third-strike call for the second time in three days.
