WEBER STATE RUNNING BACK HONORED

Northern Arizona kicker Mickey Penaflor, Weber State running back Willie McDonald and Idaho strong safety Brian Smith have been named the Big Sky Conference football players of the week, league Commissioner Ron Stephenson announced.McDonald, a 6-foot-2, 217-pound senior from Bakersfield, Calif., rushed for a Big Sky Conference season high of 210 yards on 31 attempts and one scoring run in Weber State's 51-30 come-from-behind win at Eastern Washington.
