National League umpire David Pallone is not expected to face charges in a case involving sexual activity with teen-age boys, according to the Saratoga County district attorney. Prosecutors never confirmed that Pallone was under investigation in connection with the case in which six men have been convicted or pleaded guilty to sexual activities with youths under age 17.

However, Pallone's attorney, E. Stewart Jones Jr., acknowledged in September that Pallone was being investigated, after news reports linked him to the sex case.
