VIDEO DISTURBS JURORS
Jurors at the murder trial of accused child-killer Joel Steinberg quivered in their seats as they watched a graphic color videotape showing the battered face and body of Steinberg's former lover, Hedda Nussbaum.
Several jurors squirmed and passed their hands over their faces as others strained forward to better see the 5-minute tape Thursday showing Nussbaum's gangrenous leg, broken ribs and bald patches on her scalp where hair apparently had been yanked out.Nussbaum will be called to testify as a star prosecution witness against Steinberg, who is accused of beating to death the 6-year-old girl they raised, Lisa Steinberg.
