Salt Lake Mayor Rocky Anderson, right, presents Sydney's Lord Mayor Frank Sartor a banner signed by students at Meadowlark Elementary in Salt Lake City. Meadowlark has adopted Australia under the One School, One Country program for the 2002 Winter Games, Anderson said. The students sent along a number of gifts, including a Salt Lake City Olympic flag, student letters, student artwork and a video tape showing Meadowlark students singing and conducting a tour of the school. At Anderson's request, Sartor penned a postcard to the Meadowlark students to thank them for the gifts, which will be passed on to a Sydney school. "This is wonderful,' Sartor told Anderson. "Thank them so much."
