"Nana"
On May 28, 1918, Viola Ann was welcomed into the Chicago home of Elizabeth (Schiamarelli) and Tomas Albano. Viola was a lover of learning and an observer of life, which made her an excellent conversationalist. Before marrying Thomas Coffey in 1940, she completed her Bachelor's degree and graduate studies at the University of Chicago. She devoted her life to her husband and children. She peacefully joined her husband Tom and her son Dennis on Aug. 26, 2004.
Viola is survived by her daughter, Marguerite Coffey, her son, Timothy, and daughter-in law, Pat Coffey. Her grandchildren Richard Coffey, Maren Ann Lundgren, Andrew and Rachel Coffey, will carry on her love of lively conversations. Her daughter Kathleen Lundgren (Rockford, Il) joined Viola on Aug. 29, 2004.
Private services for both Viola and Kathleen were held for the family in Illinois.
