Obituary: Steve Cahoon

1946 ~ 2004

Stephen E. Cahoon passed away July 22, 2004 in West Jordan, at home.

Steve was born June 16, 1946 to Wilbur Faux and Luella C. Cahoon in Salt Lake City, Utah. Married childhood sweetheart, Joan Whitaker October 10, 1969. He worked at Kennecott Copper for 38 years. Steve enjoyed boating, camping, four wheeling with family and friends and was an avid weather watcher. We will all miss Sunday breakfasts together.

Steve is survived by his loving wife, Joan; two daughters, Carrie (Chad) Stockes and Shauna Cahoon; son, Brian E. Cahoon; mother; brother, Morris (Rosalie) Cahoon; five grandchildren, Marissa, Caitlin, Lauren Stockes, Riley, and Dallen Cahoon. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Preceded in death by his brother, John Gary Cahoon; and his father.

Private funeral services will be held. Interment will take place at Valley View Memorial Park.
