1976 ~ 2004
Thad Franklin Goodman, age 28, returned to his Father in Heaven on June 1, 2004 as a result of an automobile accident.
Thad was born January 15, 1976 in Murray, Utah to Frank and Shari Goodman. He was the fourth of five children. Thad received his Eagle Scout Award at the age of 14 while recovering from a severe accident two years before. While attending high school he enjoyed singing in the choir and acting in school plays. He had a bright creative mind and a unique sense of humor. While he thoroughly enjoyed playing soccer, his real love was mountain biking. Always willing to be of service to others, he was often the first to offer his help when a family was either moving in or out of the neighborhood, and always willing to help mow or trim a yard. Thad loved his Father-in-Heaven and while not able to serve a full time mission, he served a stake mission in the Taylorsville area. He married his best friend, Susan Marie Cordon on May 6, 2000, in Rigby, Idaho and their marriage was later solemnized May 12, 2001 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Thad is survived by his wife, Susan; two daughters, Hannah and Ivy; parents, Frank and Shari; three brothers, Drew (Samantha), Joe, Aaron (Lori); sister, Anna-Liisa (Jeff); grandfather, Guy W. Goodman.
