Helen Dozie Shutt, age 76, of Bountiful, Utah, beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother passed away peacefully on May 16, 2008.Helen was born December 18, 1931 to Phj Nellie Schilperoort in Salt Lake City. She married David Winston Shutt on November 10, 1952. Helen enjoyed animals, loved music and spending time with her loved ones. She worked as a PBX Operator at Mountain Bell, Primary Hospital and other businesses. She served many Ward and Stake callings including a Temple worker.
Helen is survived by her husband, David Winston Shutt and her five children, Lynn and Carol Shutt, Sandra and Dennis Seymore, Dale and Resalee Shutt, Carol and Kevin Petersen, and Ryan and Natalie Shutt; along with 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Marsha Ann Shutt.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at the North Canyon 5th Ward Chapel, 2501 South Davis Blvd., Bountiful, Utah. Friends and family may call Monday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and Tuesday morning at the church one hour prior to services. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
