Marilynn Watkins Gianelo
She Will Be Missed
Marilynn Watkins Gianelo passed away peacefully April 8, 2008 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Marilynn was a businesswoman, political and women's rights activist, philanthropist, gifted pianist, and patron of the arts. She was an independent, intelligent, passionate woman of high integrity. Her first priority was always her family, for whom she made great sacrifices throughout her life. She was instrumental with her husband and sons in founding and maintaining the family business, but enjoyed most her job as a hydrologist for the US weather bureau for 10 years.
She is survived by her two brothers, Keith W. Watkins and Henry J. Watkins, Jr. and her two sons, Jim and Angelo Gianelo, who will ever cherish her example of strength in adversity, love, and compassion.
A private family memorial will be held at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity in her name.
