Elaine S. Brown "Heart of our Family" Our beloved Mother and Grandmother, Elaine Sorensen Brown, passed away November 4, 2007. She was and always will be the heart of our family. Her children Vicky, Steven (Patti), Terry (Karen), and Troy (Penny) will miss her dearly. Elaine's capacity for giving was endless and her loving nature brought smiles to the faces of her nine grandchildren Shane, Jeff, Brandon, Jennifer, Kristin, Karly, Kellee, Deseree and Shaleigh, as well as 17 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and countless friends. She was born on May 8, 1928 to Leonard and Olga Sorensen. She married Donald Wayne Brown on April 27, 1946. They settled in Kearns, Utah, where they raised their family. Her working career was primarily spent with Zion's First National Bank in Kearns, where she retired as the branch Vice President. Elaine loved getting together with friends and family. Her house was the gathering place on Christmas Eve and she spent countless hours preparing her home for the holidays. She also enjoyed camping in their RV and later weekends at their cabin in Beaver Springs with friends and family. She also loved snowbird trips in winter to their home in Florence, Arizona.
