Evelyn W Furner passed away peacefully September 6th 2007.Evelyn was born July 12, 1922 in Smuggler, Colorado to Lorenzo and Thelma Wootton. Evelyn completed her college degree following Harry's death. She taught and loved hundreds of children in her kindergarten classes during her 22 year teaching career. Her life was focused on those things that mattered most, her children, her family, lifelong friends, students, and the church she loved.

Evelyn was courageous. She faced the circumstances of life with courage, never permitting difficulties to dim her resolve to make good things happen. The geography of her life's work was relatively small but her impact on lives was boundless. We are grateful to have been loved by such a person.
