Denver Daniel Snarr

7/1/1982 ~ 8/3/2007

Denver Daniel Snarr passed away peacefully in his sleep early Friday afternoon. Though he had been struggling with an addiction to pain-killers prescribed after several various surgeries, he had recently been revitalized with a dedication to overcome this consuming struggle. The night before his death, he was alive with enthusiasm with the desire to do right, but it was too late for his body which naturally gave way to the abuse of so many years.Denver loved everyone and had an easy time doing so, but often found it difficult to love himself. With our whole hearts, we believe he is finally at rest and has found the lasting peace and happiness that eluded him for so long.

We loved Denver and we will greatly miss his big beaming smile and great giving heart. A connoisseur of chips and salsa, Denver loved hanging out with his friends, knew how to work hard, and was a driven perfectionist who tried hard to cope with this imperfect world. His desire for perfection will be greatly appreciated in the hereafter. Growing up he worked for his dad's landscaping company and became an expert at lawn care. He often spoke about opening his own business and took intense pride in his work. A graduate of Murray High, and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he endured a pioneer trek, found joy in river running with his dad and once went sky diving with his sister, Samantha. He found solace in writing poems and lyrics, became a regular at karaoke bars and enjoyed singing with his older brother, Tucker. The night prior to his passing, he was helping his brother, Trevor, rehearse lines from a script and seemed a pure natural at acting. He was also looking forward to a family trip to China this November.

Denver had a dry sense of humor and knew how to make people laugh. Through his challenges, he continued to bring joy to his parents, family and those around him. He was a loving and attentive uncle to his nephew and niece. Denver's greatest pleasure in life was helping others in need. His last gift was in donating his corneas to an unknown. Denver knew loss and truly mourned for those who suffered.

Though it is now our time to mourn, we know without a doubt that we will be with him again someday and in that knowledge, we will find our strength.
