Tracy Houston 1963 ~ 2007 Our beloved husband, father, son, and brother, Tracy Ray Houston, age 43, of Neola, died with his father, George, in an out of control wildfire June 29, 2007. He was born November 30, 1963, in Roosevelt, to George Howard and Margie Ross Houston. He served an LDS Mission to Seoul, Korea. He married JaLynn Goodrich, September 19, 1986 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He worked as a loan officer for the USDA Farm Service Agency for 18 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, all types of sports, watching the Utah Jazz play, reading Louis L'Amour books, and going on many vacations with his family. He volunteered with the 4-H, helping with show animals. He loved spending time with his family, teasing them and making up nicknames, and spent his whole life serving them. He was active in the LDS Church and held many callings, including Young Men's president, Primary teacher, Cub Scouts, Elders Quorum president, ward executive secretary, and ward missionary. He was a friend to everyone he knew and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, JaLynn; children, Shalayne, Emily, Britney, Haley, Duane Jay, and Cassie Houston, all of Neola; brothers and sister, Teresa Lynn (Rusty) Cornwall, Riverside, Gregory Max (Tonya) Houston, Blackfoot, ID, Howard Shane (Heather) Houston, Santaquin; mother, Margie Houston, Neola; grandmother, Arta Ross, Arcadia; parents-in-law, Jay and Carolyn Goodrich, Salt Lake City; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bret (Mica) Goodrich, Jim (Jen) Goodrich, Ken (Loreal) Goodrich, Mike (Heather) Goodrich; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray Dillman and Emelyn Houston, and his grandfather, Stanley Max Ross. Funeral services were held jointly with his dad's 11 a.m. Thursday, July 5, 2007 at the Roosevelt West Stake Center. Burial was in the Neola Cemetery under direction of the Hullinger Mortuary.
