Jesse Allen Blamires 1981 ~ 2007 Jesse Allen Blamires passed away in Afghanistan May 30, 2007. He was born Sept. 13, 1981 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He attended Skyline high school in Salt Lake. Jesse served the U.S. Army as a Chinook door gunner, and a ramp operator, and a crew chief. Survived by his wife Kimberly Blamires; daughters Kalli (4) and Danika (8 mo) of North Carolina; parents Mr. and Mrs. Craig Blamires of South Jordan; brothers, Eric of New Jersey; Allen of Sandy and Neil and Ethan of South Jordan and sister Julie of Oregon. Jesse was an amazing husband, loving father and an honorable soldier. Jesse fought bravely and died a hero serving in Afghanistan. We love him and he will be truly missed but never forgotten. We are proud of him. Funeral services where family and friends may honor Jesse will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2007 11:00 a.m. at the River 7th Ward, 1080 West Chapel Ridge Drive (11460 South), where friends may visit with the family from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 200 North N Street. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to the Jesse Blamires Memorial fund through any Wells Fargo Bank.
