Jeffrey Phillip Walker 1954 ~ 2007 Our beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, Jeffery Phillip Walker, 52, passed away on Feb. 12, 2007, as a result of the tragic shooting incident that took place at the Trolley Square Mall. He was born Dec. 22, 1954, in San Bernardino, CA, spending most of his childhood in the Northern California area. Jeff married the love of his life, Vickie Charlesworth on June 29, 1984 in the Jordan River Temple. They were married for 22 years. They are the parents of two daughters and two sons. Jeff lived life to its fullest, and was known and loved by many. Some of his greatest joys in life came when he was with his family and friends. He was known for his generosity and his charismatic personality. He spent many hours in the service of his family and had a reputation for putting the needs of others before his own - he will be greatly missed. Jeff was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, holding many positions over the years, including an honorable mission served in the Puerto Alegre, Brazil Mission. Jeff is survived by his wife, Vickie Charlesworth Walker; children: Korrina (Rob) Curtis, Jerremy, Alex, A.J.; parents Edward Joseph Walker and Nancy Aurora Hobson; siblings: Edward (Vicki); Suzan (Jason); Craig (Marie); Debbie (John) McNab; David (DeLaine); Jared (Sally); and three grandchildren: Thaddeous, Kianna, and Dakota. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 17, 2007, 12:00 noon at the Country Park Stake Center, 11400 S. 2447 W. A viewing will be held Friday, February 16, 2007, 5-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Road and Saturday at the church, 10:30-11:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park. The family wishes to thank the officers and emergency staff that responded to this tragic event, and the staff at the University of Utah Medical Center for the tender care of A.J.
