Obituary: Raymond Ritter Griffin

Raymond Ritter Griffin "Together Forever" Loving husband, father and friend, Raymond Ritter Griffin, age 80, passed away May 22, 2006 in Duchesne, Utah. Born September 24, 1925 in East Millcreek, Utah, son of Emerson Lloyd and Irene Josephine Ritter Griffin. Married Alta Alene Owens August 4, 1948 in Hurricane, Utah; sealed in the Jordan River Temple June 17, 1989; she preceded him in death. He was a faithful High Priest in the LDS Church, a temple worker and an avid outdoors man. Survived by children: Patricia Elmer, Murray; Martin Griffin, West Jordan; Gail Hansen, West Valley City; Ricky Griffin, Duchesne; David Griffin, Murray; Wendy Atwood, Vernal; 30 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren. Also preceded in death by daughter, DelRae Griffin. Funeral services will be held Friday, 10:00 a.m. at the Murray 11th Ward, 5750 S. Nena Way (100 W.), Murray, Utah. A viewing will be held Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Rd and Friday at the church one hour prior to services. Interment, Hurricane City Cemetery.
