FALL INSTANTLY KILLED HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR NEAR CEDAR CITY

Cedar City high school senior Jason Edwards died instantly after an accidental fall on May 25, the state medical examiner says.

Edwards' death was caused by two skull fractures suffered when he fell from a cliff two miles east of his Cedar City home. Edwards was apparently hiking when the accident occurred, authorities said.The youth's body was discovered June 17 by two hikers.

Edwards was scheduled to graduate from Cedar City High School the day after he disappeared.
