The Utah attorney general's office filed a motion Friday seeking a new death warrant for convicted Hi-Fi Shop killer William Andrews.

Officials said 2nd District Judge John Walquist is expected within days to set a date for a hearing at which Andrews will be asked to show why he should not be put to death for his role in the torture-murders of three people in an Ogden shop in 1974.Andrews was sentenced to die for the murders. He was granted a stay of execution in 1985, but that was lifted last month by U.S. District Judge David K. Winder.
