1911 ~ 2003
GARLAND - Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend moved to her heavenly home on November 29, 2003 at the age of 92.
Born November 2, 1911 in Garland, Utah, the daughter of Peter and Ida Caroline Kunz Boss. She married Ferrell Wood on March 8, 1933 in the Logan Temple. She was reared and educated in Box Elder County graduating from Bear River High School. She was very kind, loving and gave many hours of compassionate service over the years to her family and friends. She was a wonderful homemaker and seamstress. Friends and family were always cheerfully welcomed into her home. She served faithfully in many callings in the wards and stakes of the LDS Church as well as the Logan Temple and the Bear River Valley Care Center.
She was an avid genealogist and spent many hours working on family records. She always made time for her family, which gave her the greatest joy in life.
She is survived by her husband, Ferrell Wood, Tremonton; children: Connie (Boyd) Terry, Bountiful; Neal (Donna) Wood, Bennion; Roy (JoAnne) Wood, Garland; Mary (Charles) Mason, Ontario, CA; Linda (Boyd) Boman, Lewiston; 22 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; brothers: Russell (Lola) Centerville; Kenneth, Garland, Karl (Amy) Taylorsville; sisters: Donna (Bill) Linford, Salt Lake City; June Orchard, Petaluma, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Minerva; and two brothers Chester and Victor Boss.
Funeral Services will be held at the Garland, 4th Ward Chapel located at 175 South Main, Garland, Utah at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 6, 2003. Friends and family may visit at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home located at 111 North 100 East Tremonton, Utah, Friday Dec. 5, 2003 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Garland 4th Ward Relief Society room. Interment will be at Garland Cemetery
