Obituary: Lester Hatch Healey

1933 ~ 2003

West Jordan, Lester Hatch Healey, 69 died Nov. l9, 2003 in Sandy, Utah following a short illness.

Born Dec. 3, l933 in Alpine, Utah to Sanford Maurice and Margie Hatch Healey. Married Ruby Mae Serassio April 20, l962 in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple.

Les was active in the L.D.S Church serving in many positions including Bishop. He was a lifetime member of the Sons of Utah Pioneers.

Survived by his wife Ruby, children GayLyn (Al) Wilkenson, West Jordan; Dean (Lynda) Healey, South Jordan; Five grandchildren Brother Hal (Janice) Healey, Spanish Fork, Utah; Father in Law Bert Serassio, West Jordan, Ut. Nephew Brett (Teresa) Healey, Mesa, Az. Many Aunts, Uncles and cousins, and Family in the Serassio's and Webster's. A special thanks Dr. Thomas Dietz who is also a close family friend.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the West Jordan 2nd Ward Chapel 7925 So. 2700 W. Friends may call Sunday eve. from 6-8 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 So. 2200 W. and on Monday one hour prior at the Church. Interment in the Alpine Cemetery.
