Obituary: Melba Jensen Neal

Together Again

Melba Jensen Neal, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully November 5th, 2003.

Melba was born January 31, 1915, in Richfield, Utah to Alexander and Lilly May Jensen.

She married Gearld Neal, June 7th, 1939 in the Manti LDS Temple. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served two missions in the Houston Texas Mission. The last mission being served with her eternal companion. She held numerous church positions and loved playing the piano. In 1983, she graduated from BYU as a history major; she was the oldest member of the graduating class. She was an ordinance worker in the Provo Temple. She devoted much of her life in genealogy work. Her grandchildren will miss her white bread and sweet

pickles.

She is survived by her children, Pamela Neal Evans, Twayne J. Neal, Sherman J. Neal and Katherine Neal Lindsay; a sister, Euleta Jensen Zundel, Stevensville, Mont; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Melba is preceded by her loving husband Gearld.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 8, 2003, 12:30 p.m. in the West Mtn. 2nd Ward Chapel, 902 West 400 North, Payson, where friends may call 11:00 a.m. -12:15 p.m. Interment will be in the Payson City Cemetery under the direction of Walker Mortuary in Payson.
