"A Good Ole

Georgia Boy"

On the wings of love and faith, Larry F. England returned to his heavenly home November 5, 2003. In the end we learned that even though the will to live is great, God's will is greater and that His love will carry us through the darkest hours.

Larry was born March 16, 1943 in Hall County, Georgia to Waco F. and Frances Elizabeth Taylor England. He was raised and educated in the mountains of Georgia that he loved so much. Larry cut short a promising football career to join the Marines where he served for 10 years, including two tours of duty in Vietnam. Larry later moved to Utah where he met and married Lauri Ann Smith Taylor. Together he and Laurie built a lifetime of beautiful memories, raising a family, fulfilling dreams, exploring the wonders of nature, especially the beauty of southern Utah. Larry spent his years in Utah working as a journeyman carpenter, the last 10 years with Jacobsen Construction. His family takes great pride in looking around the valley and seeing the legacy he left through the projects he helped build, including the Conference Center, Grand America Hotel and many of the Olympic venues.
