Obituary: Loreen Robbins
Loreen Helen Hansen Robbins finished her mortal life at the age of 80 in a care facility in Casper, Wyoming, on October 24, 2003.
She was born December 14, 1922 in Sandy, Utah to Loreen Hellen Brand and Vernal "L" Hansen. Living in Butte, Montana, she married Charles Orin Robbins and they had four children. After a divorce, she returned to Salt Lake City where she worked and retired from the Post Office.
She was an award winning crocheter who enjoyed making children's toys, afghans and holiday items. Also, she grew to develop a deep interest in collecting stamps. She was a member of the LDS Church.
Preceding her in death: daughter, Kaye Robbins; and only siblings, Vernal and Roy Hansen.
Surviving are her children: Verlene Luken of Farmington, Utah; Laura (Guy) Donatelli of Casper, Wyoming; Chuck (Marion) Robbins of Glendale, Arizona; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren,
A short graveside service was held Oct. 29, at Sandy City Cemetery.
