Obituary: Candace R. Gardner

RICHFIELD, UTAH--

Candace Marie Rasmussen Gardner passed away in Salt Lake City on November 3, 2003 at the age of 92.

She was born July 8, 1911 in Richfield, Utah to Hazel Ericksen and Joseph L. Rasmussen. She married Leslie Westman Gardner on March 25, 1932 in Antimony, Utah. He preceded her in death March 26, 1987.

Her children are Janet Gardner (Chet Allen) of Grand Junction, CO, Susan (Floyd) Brown of Salt Lake City; grandchildren, Christopher (Melissa) and Michael (Jody) Brown; great-grandchildren, Patrick, Collin and Leslie Anna Brown; siblings, Marjorie Ostler of Orem, and Gordon (Yora) Rasmussen of Joseph, Utah survive her.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Leslie; son, Lane; and sisters, Carol Nebeker, Dona Vayo, and Fay Allred precede her in death.

Brief services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, November 8, 2003 in the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary Chapel. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary Saturday morning after 11:00 a.m. Burial in the Richfield City Cemetery.
