HILL AIR FORCE BASE — The Hill Aerospace Museum has changed its policy of closing on federal holidays as announced last month and now will be open on those holidays.

The museum is north of Hill in Roy, and is a field museum of the Air Force Museum system, whose mission is to portray the history of Hill Air Force Base, its tenants and the missions of the Ogden Air Logistics Center.

The museum was founded in 1981 as part of the Air Force Heritage Program and hosts 200,000 visitors annually. It has 64 military aircraft and missiles on display, plus a variety of ordnance, ground equipment, military vehicles, uniforms and other historical artifacts. Hours are 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. daily.
