Martin Luther King III, president and CEO of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and eldest son of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., will speak at the Smith-Pettit Lecture on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 8 p.m. His subject will be "The Dream Deferred: An Examination of the Goals of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in Today's Society."
This lecture is free and open to the public.
