I am a concerned homeowner in Springville. Two years ago, we built a home in Sunrise Ridge. We landscaped extra nice expecting to have a beautiful appearance.
I know that water is scarce, and we are in a drought. I also believe in supply and demand, which Springville City is not prepared to do. It overbuilt for the supply of water it can produce, yet the city continues to take $8,500 or more from new homeowners to build in Springville.
If I had known about the lack of water plus low water pressure, I would not have built in this town.
Springville is up for a bond election for new city offices in August. They expect us to vote in favor of them. At this point, I will vote against all new city offices until they serve the residents better.
