KNRS, alias "Family Values Talk Radio," received its best-ever ratings in Salt Lake radio market, according to the latest Arbitron "spring book" estimates.

The station, found at AM-570, is now ranked fifth in the all-age, 12-plus listening category, as well as the age 25-54 listening group.

KNRS and KSL (AM-1160), which was ranked second in the age 12-plus and 25-54 categories, were the only AM stations to crack the top 10. KSFI was ranked at No. 1, and KUBL was ranked at No. 3.

KNRS features Bob Lonsberry doing a morning show exclusively for the Salt Lake market from New York. The rest of the lineup — Rush Limbaugh, Dr. Laura, Michael Savage and Michael Reagan — is syndicated programming interspersed with local news.

According to the latest estimates, Lonsberry's show has a 4.0 percent ranking among adults, which ties the show for ninth-place in the mornings.

KJQN (FM-103.1, 100.7 and 105.1) is now tied for eighth-place with KBER with a 3.9 percent share of the total audience share in the 18-34 age category. In last fall's Arbitron book, the relatively new station (at least in its resurrected form) wasn't even ranked in the top 20 among young-adult listeners.
