Course description: The Scottish Links style course has rolling fairways with 128 bunkers and high mountain grasses of contrasting colors, giving the course a visual appeal. It is a cross between South Mountain and Wingpointe and similar to the new Overlake Course in Tooele without the water. The course can play very long from the back tees at just under 7,400 yards and is a test from the gold tees at 6,703 yards. The smart play on several holes is not to hit driver and avoid the long grass in the rough that can eat up balls. Carts aren't required but recommended because of long stretches between some holes.

Holes to remember: The first hole might be the most visually pleasing, an elevated tee looking down to a long par-5 that stretches to 597 yards from the back and a healthy 541 from the middle. The No. 4 hole is one of the best, a dogleg left with a wash bordering the left side and standing in the way of approach shots. The 11th is another long par-5 that is fairly straight with a hazard up by the green. No. 12 is the best par-3, uphill with a sod-wall, or pot bunker to the side of the green. Both of the finishing holes, 9 and 18 require shots to elevated greens with several bunkers to contend with on No. 9.
