TAYLORSVILLE — Police and the FBI are on the hunt for a man who robbed a Taylorsville bank Monday morning.

The man walked into the Hercules Credit Union at 4700 South and 3100 West just after 11 a.m. with apparently nothing but a note, said Taylorsville Police Lt. Rosie Rivera. He slipped the note to the teller, demanding money. With the stolen cash in hand, he dashed out the door and made off on foot. The note said he had a weapon, but none of the witnesses saw one, Rivera said. Police using search dogs were unable to locate the robber.

The man is described as white, 6 feet tall with a beard and wearing a plaid shirt, khaki pants, a CSI black baseball cap and running shoes.
