Meatball lets out a big yawn while awaiting the start of the 2009 UFO Festival Alien Pet Costume Contest on Friday at the Roswell Convention Center in Roswell, N.M. Meatball took second place in the contest. The annual festival, which began Thursday, runs through Sunday and includes a parade, a fireworks show and a performance by Jefferson Starship.
