PROVO — Erosion repair of the Bonneville Shoreline Trail on the north side of Rock Canyon begins July 6.

The city has contracted with Ridge Rock Inc. to excavate eroded areas and build a retaining wall. The work is expected to take about two weeks.

That section of the Bonneville Shoreline trail will be closed to the public from July 6 through the completion of the work, city spokeswoman Helen Anderson said.
