"Probably playing," he said with a grin. "Coaching is kind of crazy."

Quinn Price's coaching debut included teaching his 13-year-old sister, Elli.

"If she doesn't do what he says, he takes her out," said their dad. "There is no favoritism. He told her, 'You've got to get down.' "

Elli admits she's not yet as tough as her brother on defense.

"I'm not that good at it, but it's fun," she said.

Rod Price said he keeps his children active, but goalball especially helps them socially and physically.

"The main thing it teaches them is to get out and get active," he said. "For many of these kids, this is their social outlet. It has been an extremely positive influence."

As Price's team, the Wolverines, sits on the verge of defeating the Flash, a team without a single loss all day, he can barely contain himself. When the opposing team calls a timeout, Quinn Price stands up and makes his way onto the court. His father starts to follow him.

"He sent me back to the bench," Rod Price said with a smile. "He wanted to address the team as the coach."

His father tapped the floor at the end of the timeout, which allowed Quinn Price to safely make his way back to the bench alone. A few more minutes pass with one more goal for the Wolverines. When the buzzer goes off, the Wolverines erupt in screams as they know they've won 5-2.

"That was intense!" said Drew Harris, 12. Then Quinn Price adds, "I wish I would have seen Hershel (Kelly's) face!"

Kelly is one of Quinn Price's teammates on the Utah Explosion. Just a few minutes later, Kelly comes down the hall yelling. "Quinn! You're eating my soul!"

They laugh and discuss the game, going over strategy and commending each other and their players. The younger players huddle around them as the discussion shifts to upcoming games.

"It's just something good to do," said Quinn Price of goalball. "It's one of the funnest things you can do."
