Utah State basketball: Aggies downplay their age advantage

Utah State already played at Taco Bell Arena this year, having faced Boise State on Valentine's Day. So familiarity with the setting, backgrounds, court and rims may be advantageous.
"Obviously, being in the WAC, Boise State fans as well as coming up from Logan, it's not too far of a drive, so I think we'll have a lot of support here and feel comfortable in the gym," said Wilkinson. "That's definitely an advantage for us and I think we're going to try to use every advantage we have to go out and win. It's a great draw for us in terms of where we're playing."
No matter where the Aggies face Marquette, the fact remains it is still two teams trying to win a basketball game.
"They've played here, and they have a comfort level here. It's closer to Logan than Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I think it's easy to say they will have more fans," said Golden Eagles coach Buzz Williams. "With that being said, they want to win, and we want to win despite who the fans are pulling for."
TEAM ACCOMMODATIONS: It may be an ironic twist of fate, but the Aggies set up their team headquarters for the stay for the tournament at the Hyatt Place Boise/Town Square. While certainly the hotel itself is nice, the location's name may have been more appropriate for Utah State's opponent. The building is located at 925 Milwaukee Street.
