Collision kills Washington state man

A head-on collision on U.S. 191 killed a Washington state man about 3 p.m. Sunday.

Leif Kamara, 21, was traveling south just outside Monticello when his car suddenly swerved into the grill of a semi-truck traveling in the opposite direction, Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Steve Winward said. The collision caused the semi to jackknife and push Kamara's car into a car traveling behind it.

Kamara died at the scene, Winward said. No other injuries were reported.

"The officers over the investigation believe it may have been an intentional act based on their findings and witness accounts," he said.
