Nauvoo restoration: Did you know that in the 1960s, the Church toyed with the idea of a "Partial Restoration of the Nauvoo Temple"? In fact, the 1968 Improvement Era cover story detailed the plans for this restoration, including pictures which you can now view on this blog. I'm happy the Nauvoo Temple was more completely restored, but the plans are intriguing. Check out this restoration history of Nauvoo!
