Utah Jazz: Miles a no-go tonight
That means a second straight start for Utah Valley product Ronnie Price in the backcourt along with Williams, who missed another practice Sunday with a sinus infection but now claims he feels "A-OK, buddy."
Ten-four and Roger that.
The Jazz are listing Miles as "doubtful," but he won't go tonight against Danny Granger and the fast-paced Pacers. He did some "good-paced jogging" at shoot-around this morning, and he's looking forward to testing out his moderately sprained ankle tonight by doing some pregame shooting.
Miles is hopeful he'll return in time for the Jazz's three-game road swing, which begins in Oklahoma City on Wednesday.
"Hopefully, I can practice tomorrow," he said this morning. "And be able to go on the road trip. That's my goal."
Before then, though, the Jazz are hoping to finish off their current four-game homestand with a fourth win in a row.
Granger leads the way with 26.4 points per game.
"We've got to bring our running shoes tonight," Okur said. "They're going to run."
